Born in Englewood, New Jersey, Jacklyn Zeman, trained in classic ballet from age five, and entered New York University on a scholarship at age 15 to pursue a major in dance. In 1974 she landed a small role in Deep Throat Part II, and in 1976 she earned the role of Lana McLain in One Life to Live. It was in 1977 that she became Barbara 'Bobbie' Spencer in General Hospital, a role she played for more than 40 years.
Jacklyn Zeman died after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 70.
