The Time Travelers Recap

Jonah and the bots get to know each other with a game of Never Did I Ever. The bots boast about never breathing or confronting their immortality. The Mads run the intro and Crow presents his invention: edible silica packets. Jonah tries it and finds that it's delicious, until he finds the one inedible packet in the box. Kinga and Max present After Life Alert, presenting directions to the proper circle of Hell. They then send the trio the movie, The Time Travelers.

-----

For the first break, Crow and Gypsy hold a time portal safety inspection. Gypsy asks what they would do if they went to 1920 Chicago, and explains that changing the past always results in a nuclear wasteland. As Crow describes how he'd ride a dinosaur to Nazi Germany to go Hitler hunting, they have movie sign.

-----

For the second break, Jonah welcomes their new maintenance bot, Fixie. Once Jonah leaves, Crow and Tom beat Fixie up and take him away. Jonah brings in Slappy, the home entertainment bot programmed with impersonations. The bots beat him up and go, and Jonah brings in Qwosie the cook-bot. As Tom and Crow beat it up, Jonah explains that he builds fake bots to keep Tom and Crow in tip-top shape because they don't exercise.

-----

For the third break, a passing craft hails the Satellite of Love. It's Dr. Varno and his associate Larry from the movie. They ask if the trio likes to party, and Varno explains that the other scientists are hibernating while they're touring the galaxy and testing the limits of physical pleasure. The bots want to go with them but Jonah figures that it's a bad idea. Varno and Larry are called off to an underground flash rave on Betelgeuse to kick things up a notch.

-----

After the movie is over, Jonah and the bots find frozen-in-time versions of Crow and Tom on the bridge. Tom admires himself and Crow hits his counterpart. A lot. On Moon Base 13, Kinga points out that it was the 200th episode of MST3K if they count the old series. Max notes that they had nothing to do with it, but Kinga says that they have to grab some legacy celebration dollars and has Synthia and the Boneheads bring out a cake. Max tries to light the candles but Kinga points out that it's a nitrogen-rich atmosphere and has Max push the 200th button.
