Pursuing a newsbeat when a respected U.S. Consulate official re-enters the British Crown Colony surrepticiously, foreign correspondent Glenn Evans (Rod Taylor) finds peril and intrigue in the murky international underworld in “When Strangers Meet” on “Hong Kong" Wednesday, Dec. 21. Evans attempts to locate the widowed daughter-in-law of the official, Edward Manton (Kenneth MacKenna), after learning of the murder of Ho-Guy (Clarence Lung), a private detective hired by Manton.
