At the lab, Maggie gets off the phone with Mitchell and calls to Quincy. She says that someone linked the Langston case to the press, and wonders where everyone else is. He refuses to tell her where Kirsten is, pointing out that it gives Maggie plausible deniability when Mitchell asks her if she knew.
Kirsten answers the door and finds her half-sister Ivy Brown there. Ivy says that she's not staying and only has one thing to say to her. She wanted to say it to Kirsten's face, and see what Kirsten looks like. Ivy admits that Kirsten looks just like her mother, and figures that's why Daniel left her. Kirsten points out that Daniel abandoned her as well, and Ivy refuses to help her. As she turns to go, Kirsten says that the NSA is hunting Daniel. Ivy figures that the NSA wants to exploit his work, but Kirsten says that Daniel killed three people. If Ivy helps her get to Daniel then the next time they meet won't be at his funeral. After a moment, Ivy agrees to come in for coffee.
Ivy insists that Daniel isn't a murderer, and figures that Kirsten knows where Daniel is. Kirsten claims that an informant gave her a tip that led her to Ivy. She explains who Daniel killed, Ivy wonders what technology Daniel developed. Kirsten says that telling Ivy would put the people she works with at risk, and Ivy explains that Daniel made her promise not to tell Kirsten where he was. He said that he'd find Kirsten when she was ready to hear the truth. Kirsten asks Ivy if she sent her the same message, and Ivy says that she didn't.
As they sit down for coffee, Kirsten tells Ivy that she's only heard Daniel's side of the story. Ivy wants to understand what's going on before she considers taking Kirsten to Daniel. She wants to hear about the technology Daniel developed, and Kirsten agrees. Ivy wants Kirsten to speak first, and Kirsten says that she needs to provide some context. She explains that she couldn't meet Ivy sooner because her team was handling a murder investigation.
-----
In the lab, Cameron finally tells Kirsten that Nina is freezing him out after he canceled dinner with her twice for work.
-----
Ivy figures that Kirsten has feelings for Cameron but doesn't comment. Kirsten explains that Cameron is an expert on Daniel's tech.
-----
Maggie briefs the team on the murder victim, Josh Langston. He's the son of Senator Jefferson Langston, and was shot dead in his apartment. Josh has a clean record, and there's no sign of a break-in. Camille discovers that Josh was a host on ZipCouch, and Nick Mero, a tech nerd turned mogul, started the company. Josh was expecting a new guest, but it's a fake profile. Mitchell comes in and says that Jefferson is a friend of the Stitchers program.
-----
Kirsten explains that they call themselves the Stitchers project because they stitch together clues that other agencies meet. However, she refuses to go into details.
-----
Mitchell says that Jefferson has been instrumental in securing their funding, and he wants a tight lid kept on the investigation. He also tells them to end their unauthorized search for Daniel, which means no more contact with Liam. Maggie confirms his orders and talks to Kirsten afterward. She points out that she can't disobey a direct order from her boss, and figures that Mitchell will find Daniel.
-----
Kirsten says that once Mitchell unleashes the NSA on Daniel, Daniel will be in serious trouble. Ivy wants more information before she says where Daniel is, and Kirsten says that the technology lets them question people that wouldn't normally answer questions.
-----
The team begins the Stitch and Kirsten sees Josh in his apartment preparing for company. A young woman, Abby Newton, arrives and Josh invites her in. According to Josh's profile, Abby couch-surfed at Josh's place two nights ago. Abby sees a photo of Josh with Jefferson, and Josh admits that his father is the senator. Next, Kirsten sees Josh checking out Abby undress via a hidden camera.
-----
Ivy wonders how Kirsten knew what Josh saw, and Kirsten says that he was in his apartment.
-----
The memories jump and Kirsten sees Josh checking his camera. The fake Denise texts Josh and says that she's coming, and when Josh opens the door, a man in a clean-room suit shoots him dead.
-----
Kirsten admits that they haven't caught the killer yet. Outside, someone watches them through the window. They pause to make dinner, and Ivy says that she's a computer teacher for elementary students. She explains that she was young when Daniel left her and her mother for Jacqueline, and she hated him for it. They picked up where they left off, and Ivy proposes a toast to more answers than questions.

Camille finds a series of bad reviews about the ZipCouch app, and Quincy suggests that the person is the killer. Camille figures that they if they match the accounts of the fake ID to the reviewer, they'll know that they're connected.
-----
Kirsten explains that Camille is her co-worker as well as her roommate, and that Camille spied on her before she joined the NSA. She insists that she can count on all of her co-workers because they're like family.
-----
Linus gets word that Samir's surgery was postponed again. Camille suggests that he needs comfort food and takes him to the break room for some chocolate. Kirsten asks Cameron if he's heard from Nina, and he admits that he hasn't. Cameron asks her about Liam, and Kirsten says that he might be linked to Daniel. She says that she was okay with Nina but points out that she didn't tell Cameron about Liam because he's always with her, and Cameron wonders when she changed her mind. Kirsten insists that she misspoke and quickly leaves.
-----
Kirsten insists that she doesn't have any relationships while she's trying to find Daniel, and Ivy says that's sad. After a moment, Kirsten shows Ivy the board in her room with her calculations. Ivy recognizes the statistics and concedes that Kirsten is smart. She suggests that Kirsten is desperate to find Daniel because she misses him, and says that Daniel is smart, driven, and relentless: like Kirsten. Ivy figures that everything he's done is motivated by love. When Kirsten reminds her that Daniel has killed three people, Ivy changes the subject and asks about a red baseball cap. Kirsten says that it belongs to the informant she was talking about.
-----
On the second Stitch, Kirsten sees Josh meet with Nick in Nick's office. Young Cameron appears and the team erects a firewall to isolate the anomaly. Kirsten thanks the boy for helping her in the void, and Young Cameron says that he wants to tell him. His hand flickers and the boy realizes that Linus is setting up a firewall. In the lab, Linus tells the team that someone has erected a bigger firewall. Young Cameron tells Kirsten that someone is going to visit her to ask a very specific question. Her answer will show if she's ready to hear the truth.
-----
Kirsten asks Ivy if it's the test, but Ivy doesn't know what she's talking about.
-----
Kirsten, Cameron, and Quincy interview Nick. He says that they're extremely careful about screening their hosts, and he thought Josh was a good guy. Nick asks who killed Josh, and the team points out the reviews posted from the fake profile. The CEO says that he's had no issues, and is happy that they're keeping the investigation quiet. Nick explains that he sank his entire life savings into ZipCouch and owns 50%, and wants to get ahead of it before it goes public as well as implement some new security measures. Once Nick leaves, Cameron admits that he doesn’t trust Nick.
-----
Kirsten explains about Cameron's fascination with movies, and she tells Ivy that they found one enemy.
-----
Camille briefs the team on Jessica Grey, the founder of Futon Friends and Nick's number one rival. She sent all of the bad reviews through the fake ID, and she's arriving in LA within the hour. As the team goes to get her, Kirsten gets a text and says that she'll be back soon. Cameron approaches her and Kirsten admits that it was Liam, and she has to meet with him. She figures that she can find Daniel and convince him to give himself up, and she loves him.
-----
Ivy is surprised that Kirsten would say she loved Daniel.
-----
Kirsten figures that she can find Daniel and bring him to justice, and he deserves to burn for what he's done. Cameron warns that she's risking everything on her obsession, but Kirsten tells him that she's no good to anyone until she looks Daniel in the eyes and confirm that she's nothing like him.
-----
Ivy finds the urn with Ed's ashes, and Kirsten advises her to put it down. Once she does, Ivy asks about Liam and Kirsten says that she needed closure with him.
-----
Kirsten meets Liam and she tells him that she knows he's working with Daniel to keep tabs on her. She warns that Liam is an accessory, and appeals to their relationship so that Liam will tell her where Daniel is. Liam turns and walks away without a word.
-----
Kirsten says that she'll get the closure with Liam eventually. Outside, Liam finishes watching them and leaves.
-----
As Quincy brings Jessica in, Kirsten gets another text. She finally tells Quincy that she's meeting Ivy that night and asks him not to tell Mitchell. They then question Jessica, who says that Nick stole his ideas from her. ZipCouch is Nick's fifth start-up in eight years, and they all went broke. Nick also stole her investor, Caleb Jenkins. Caleb reached out to her recently.
-----
Kirsten explains that Caleb regretted investing in ZipCouch and was going to invest in Futon Friends once he got his money back from Nick. Ivy suggests that an unhappy investor might hire a hitman to kill Josh and damage ZipCouch's reputation, forcing Nick to pay him what he owes. Kirsten says that they visited Caleb but he wasn't in a talking mood.
-----
The team visit Caleb and find him dead, shot twice in the chest.
-----
Ivy wonders how Kirsten deals with so much death, and suggests that Kirsten speaks for the dead. Kirsten explains that Caleb wanted his cut, but they don't know if the same person killed Caleb that killed Josh.
-----
The team Stitch Caleb, and Kirsten sees him meeting with Nick and looking angry. Caleb points out that he hasn't seen any profits, and knows about Nick's other failed ventures. He demands his scheduled payouts, and Nick says that he needs two weeks. Next, Kirsten sees a memory of the same hitman breaking into Caleb's apartment and shooting him.
-----
Kirsten tells Ivy that's the last thing that happened before she got there.
Nina visits Cameron and figures that it's a mistake. However, she agrees to come in.
Linus and Getti are with Samir when Camille comes in with gulab juman for him. The nurse comes to take Samir to surgery and he assures Getti that he'll be fine. Once Linus' parents leave, he starts crying and Camille assures him that he's never been more of a man then he is now and takes his hand.
At the lab, Maggie gets off the phone with Mitchell and calls to Quincy. She says that someone linked the Langston case to the press, and wonders where everyone else is.
Kirsten asks where Daniel is, and Ivy tells her to stop playing games and asks what the technology is. Before Kirsten can respond, her phone rings. It's Quincy, who says that the murders went public. Nick has announced that ZipCouch is shutting down immediately and is holding a press conference in half an hour. Ivy mentions Nick's life savings, and Kirsten remembers that in the Stitch Caleb said he owns 75%. Intrigued, Ivy borrows Kirsten's computer and accesses Nick's financial records. She explains that she worked in banking before teaching, and brings the record sup.
Later, Kirsten and Ivy arrive at the press conference. Nick tells the reporters that he's taking ZipCouch offline. Kirsten asks if his investors will get their money back, and Nick says that their valuation will drop to zero. As Nick tries to leave, Kirsten points out that he lined up 26 different investors and funded the company at 3000%. She tells everyone that Nick wanted the company to fail so he could keep the money, but he didn't expect ZipCouch to take off. Nick had to sabotage the app by killing a host and then kill an investor, and leak the murders to the press. Quincy puts Nick under arrest and takes him away.
Nina tells Cameron that they're more than just a fling, and she wants more from him. She figures that Cameron and Kirsten have something special, and says that she is too and won't be second best. Nina tells Cameron to make a choice between the girl in his mind and the girl standing in front of him. Cameron says that they're being open and he never realized how much he needed that, and kisses Nina.
Maggie confirms that there are unused clean suits in Nick's storage unit. When Kirsten explains that Ivy is her half-sister, Maggie realizes that Kirsten disobeyed orders. She says that they'll deal with it in the morning. As Kirsten goes out, Ivy approaches her and Kirsten thanks her for her help. Liam calls Kirsten and agrees to tell her everything about Daniel. He texts her an address to meet him, and Kirsten tells Ivy that Liam wants to talk and she has to go. She asks if they can get together soon, and Ivy says that it would be nice. They both agree not to hug and Kirsten goes.
Ivy goes to the address and Liam calls to say that he's just around the corner and will come to her. There's a gunshot over the phone, and Kirsten runs there to find Liam dead in the alleyway.
