With 2018 marking a brand new era for Doctor Who it is only right that 2019 kicks off in spectacular style. So to mark the occasion, in this year’s festive episode the TARDIS will travel through the time vortex from its traditional time slot on Christmas Day and will land in style on New Year’s Day.

New information has been released about the new series of Doctor Who, including interviews with the cast.

The last time viewers saw the Doctor, she was falling from her TARDIS so it’s about time for the Doctor to land. This time it’s all change, as Doctor Who is moving to Sunday nights, launching on Sunday 7 October.
