Recent discussions
All of these singing/reality shows have become tedious, talentless and below mediocre. More time is spent on the inane interactions between the "judges" and excruciating, contrived ploys for sympathy for the unusually bad aspirants. This is true straight across the board for ALL these Idol shows and for the other network's entry "The Voice". I am embarrassed to watch this formulaic junk.
