Mission: Impossible

The IMF is a top-secret branch of the U.S. government that takes on missions deemed "impossible" by all other agencies. Each of the team members can be disavowed if necessary. Leading the team is first Daniel Briggs, and then Jim Phelps. Each week they recruit a team of specialists to accomplish the mission, whether it's break into an impenetrable safe, or bring a fugitive to justice, or simply deal with mobsters who are beyond the reach of conventional law enforcement.

Can anyone tell me why, in spite of being relatively well known at the time, guest star Ross Hagen's name does not appear in the credits to "Speed"?

Nice to see an episode filmed in San Francisco that made great use of so many iconic places: shots of the TransAmerica building, Golden Gate bridge, Fairmont hotel, the Fine Arts Museum, San Francisco General Hospital, Bay Bridge, several street scenes in Pacific Heights, Nob Hill & along the Embarcadero.

Also noticed a second actor who played CC Capwell on Santa Barbara appears.  This time it's Charles Bateman in his second MI appearance.  Peter Mark Richman was previously in 4 other MI episodes.

When the team is following Varsi, they are driving in LA, but the map they are supposedly following him on shows San Francisco streets (Mission, Van Ness, etc.)

When Colonel Kemmer looks out the window of the hotel (at fictional 227 North Fargo), the view is  of the Van Ness (back) side of San Francisco City Hall. There are no hotels that would have that view. The building across from that view is the War Memorial Opera House.
