this was one of the best bbc films made about broadmoor. i was also in this film (LASZLO) Haines. it is a very positive portrayal of Broadmoor hospital and its work. there is a lot of negative and positive talk about Broadmoor. but that like anywhere in life. from 1986 till 1992 i had a very busy and industrious life. and for the first time in my life i had a direction to go in. life was worth living. that was when the poa ran things. i left in 1992 and spent the next sixteen years in an rsu going round in circles. then i went back to broadmoor another film made in 2014. that was awful and broadmoor under the nhs was terrible i was there from 2008 till 2017. i am now a free man after wining a tribunal in 2023.
