The six-episode HBO Original drama series TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY, starring Academy Award®-winner and Emmy®-nominated Jodie Foster and Kali Reis, debuts SUNDAY, JANUARY 14 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on Max. March 18, 2022 HBO is working on a fourth iteration of True Detective. Deadline understands that the WarnerMedia-owned cable network is developing a new take on the crime drama – tentatively titled True Detective: Night Country – from Issa López and Barry Jenkins.

HBO is giving viewers a sneak peek at this Sunday’s lineup ahead of Sunday night’s game. On Friday, Feb. 1, HBO subscribers will have early access to the next episodes of TRUE DETECTIVE, CRASHING and HIGH MAINTENANCE via HBO GO, HBO NOW and HBO On Demand, as well as through partners’ streaming platforms. The episodes will still debut at their regular times Sunday, Feb. 3 on the main HBO channel.

TRUE DETECTIVE will return for its eight-episode third season SUNDAY, JAN. 13 (9:00–10:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, followed by other episodes subsequent Sundays at the same time.
