This week, Paul Martin is in the West Midlands, where he takes on local auctioneering expert Rachel Holland. Rachel is a specialist of Asian art and has extensive knowledge of her home patch: the heart of British manufacturing. In their first challenge, locals from all over the West Midlands bring their antiques and collectibles to an open valuation day, but only the best items will be put under the hammer. Will either auctioneer be tempted by the retro style of an 80s omnichord player, or will they go for classic collectibles like an impressive stamp collection. As they head into the second round, they find themselves against the clock, as they race around Halfpenny Antique and Vintage Centre in search of hidden treasures that could make them a profit in the sale room. The third challenge gives both rivals the chance to bag a big money star lot which could transform their fortunes. Who will have the closest answer to the question in the golden envelope and have the chance to pick first? It's all to play for as the final auction takes place but who will take the crown as the day's winner?

Paul Martin's in The Black Country and he's taking on one of the West Midlands most prolific antique experts: Rachel Holland. Ready for battle, Rachel is hoping her local knowledge will shine through and she will earn local respect winning the crown and the bragging rights. In the first challenge, the Accept or Reject round, locals from all over the region bring their antiques and valuables to a valuation day, but only the best items will be put under the hammer. Will either auctioneer be tempted with a Cliff Richard gold disc, a model car collection, or a miniature apprentice chest? In the second round, Paul and Rachel find themselves against the clock as they race around the Old Mill Antique Centre in Bridgnorth in search of hidden treasures that could make them a profit in the sale room. The third challenge is the Jackpot dual round which gives both rivals the chance to bag a big money star lot which could change everything. What surprises await them, hidden in the back of the vans, and who will get to choose first? It's all to play for as the final auction takes place but who will take the crown as the day's winner?

It's the third Auction Showdown of the week, as Paul Martin goes head-to-head with all-round antiques ace, Rachel Holland, in a midweek duel in Stourbridge. Their first challenge sees them in Stourbridge Town Hall, offering valuations to locals and snapping up the pieces they reckon will make a profit in the sale room. Will the auctioneers Accept or Reject an early 20th century stained glass window, or a copper-topped tavern table? The second round sees the rivals up against the clock to each find an item they can Flip for Profit at auction, combing the Old Mill Antiques Centre for treasures. In their third challenge, Paul and Rachel have the opportunity to nab a high-value lot to put under the hammer in their Jackpot Duel. Faced with the choice between a 19th century apothecary cabinet and a plush chaise longue, the auctioneers must use their sale room savvy to select the piece they think will get the bidders most excited. Now he's travelling across the country to pit his auctioneering skills against his biggest rivals in the ultimate battle of the gavels. All this week Paul Martin has been searching for treasures in the West Midlands, in the historic industrial heartland of the Black Country. With two wins each, he and rival Rachel Holland have it all to play for today. In their first challenge, locals from all over the West Midlands bring their beloved antiques and collections to the Stourbridge Town Hall to be valued by Paul and Rachel. As it's the final showdown of the week they are on a mission to secure items they are confident will sell well at the auction. Will they choose a Fuller's cylindrical slide rule, some Royal Crown Derby or an unusual silver candle extinguisher? In round two Paul and Rachel put their wheeling and dealing skills to the test when they shop for bargains at the Old Mill Antiques Centre in Bridgnorth. With 30 minutes on the clock and a limited budget, they search for items they hope can sell for profit at auction. For the third challenge they must compete to win a high value item with the potential to be a gamechanger at auction. One question stands between them to get first choice on a vintage rocking horse or an Edwardian baby crib. They both have eyes on the same item but which of them will get their hands on it? In the showdown auction Paul and Rachel polish their gavels and get ready for the final battle of the week. Who will be crowned champion of the West Midlands?
