Hello JuanArango,
I am not sure if this goes in this forum and I am unsure how to message someone, so I have posted this here. Actually, I think that the show request #9935 ("Kazoku Game") should not have been rejected.
From my understanding, your reply/reason for the show's rejection is probably because the TVBD id 268888 is already linked with the show Gate (http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/2529/gate).
However, I noticed some errors. First, for the show Gate, the correct id should be TVBD id 295222 (http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=295222). Second, the show Game is an anime that premiered in 2015, whereas the show request #9935 ("Kazoku Game") is a drama that premiered in 2013; also, the id for Kazoku Game should indeed be TVBD id 268888 ((http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=268888).
Please reply.
Thank you.

You are correct, it was my mistake, I will add the show tomorrow :)

Same person~

And i have a few questions about korean names in database. First. According to "Revised Romanization of Korean" (from wikipedia):

"It is permitted to hyphenate syllables in the given name, following common practice. Certain phonological changes, ordinarily indicated in other contexts, are ignored in names, for better disambiguating between names: 강홍립 → Gang Hongrip or Gang Hong-rip, 한복남 → Han Boknam or Han Bok-nam"

So name should be like "Jung Hyungdon" or "Jung Hyung-don" (person above) but in database there are a lot of variations of other korean names (with hyphen, w/o hyphen, with space in between). Whan should we do with others and new ones? Which writing should we use?

Second one is about aliases. For example, Baro is an alias, his real name is Cha Sun-woo. Should he be renamed in database and "Baro" be added to "also known as" or should nis real name be written in "akas" section? Among fans he is better known as Baro. Same for N (it's strange, but just a few hours ago he was Cha Hak-Yeon O_o)...

Hi there,

As I am probably one of the very few editing the Asian (Korean/Japanese/Thai etc.) I try to be very consistent, but unfortunately one of our external providers is not. This results in several conflicting name issues in our database, but once spotted I usually change them immediately. For your question, I would rather use their stage name as they are better known under those names and creating less duplicate accounts as korean names may be very similar for foreigners.

In case for your other question, It is better to stick to Jung Hyung Don as I currently keep up the database like that with more than hundreds of actors named in that way, so in case for Gang Hongrip or Han Bok-nam, this both would mean to write them like Gang Hong Rip and Han Bok Nam.

I hope this helps and leave a message if there is any doubt,

Thomas.

Someone or something keeps adding a bogus 10x01 episode of Ice Road Truckers on Aug 4 named "Episode 1". Season 10 will premiere in August but the date hasn't been announced, and the episode won't be named "Episode 1".

The First 4 episodes have dates as far as I can tell. See here.

Episode X is the way episodes with no known episode names are being listed on the site.

"Episode X" is not an acceptable way for TBA episodes to be listed on THIS site.

If the show normally have episode names then yes I agree TBA seems more approprivate.
As for the episode dates zap2it is the biggest and most accurate site out there for tv listings so I'm sure they're more up to date than some intern on facebook.

Zap2it is quite accurate for TV listings in the upcoming 2-week period. But what you linked to is an episode guide, not TV listings.

Those dates may well turn out to be correct, but at this moment they are guesswork.

Edited to add that I just noticed the dates in question are on Thursdays. For the last 9 years Ice Road Truckers has always aired on Sunday. So if I were going to guess a premiere date for season 10, it would be a Sunday.
