If there are two official sites, and one has titles and one doesn't, perhaps titles should be used no matter TVMaze's internal policy is about accepting which country is the country of origin. It seems odd to choose an official nothing over an official something if the two conflict.
What does the onscreen title and/or press kit say? They have priority over official sites. Or do they say different things in different countries as well?
I agree, if there are two official sites and one has titles, we should use the title :)

It is added under BBC, as it is premiering in the UK.

Can you put in Supervising Associate Producer for Robert Breech in the crew appearance on L.A. Law? And can you please put in William M. Finkelstein and Judith Parker as Co-Producers, Michele Gallery as Producer, Co-Executive Producer for Rick Wallace, David E. Kelley as Supervising Producer and Philli M. Goldfarb as Coordinating Producer the same as in the crew appearances on L.A. Law? Thank you.
You can add all those yourself, only if you want to have someone deleted, then we have to do it :)

I have done it but you can also do it easily yourself :)

To me it looks like he doesn't know that you have to add crew on the shows main page before it shows up on the individual episode crew list.

FX site doesn't use titles as well.
Anyone knows, where this "Shovels and Keys" title came from?

I think from wikipedia, maybe also from the on screen credits, but I do not watch that show :)

imdb list it, but we all know how unreliable they are for sources! :)

For what it's worth, I've had a quick shifty through the episode on BBC iPlayer, there is no on screen title that I've been able to find. I've also not been able to find anywhere beyond wiki/imdb, who don't cite their sources, that confirm this to be a genuine episode title.

Then it definitely should stay at "Episode 1" :)
Also, while we're on this who no BBC title thing. Can I just confirm that according to the official BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01pvmf6/episodes/guide) website (& my DVDs for that matter), the show Death In Paradise (http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/1437/death-in-paradise) does not have official titles. Over the years I've noticed titles sudenly spring up from nowhere for this show, I suspect it's as they've started to air in other countries who are accustomed to episodes having titles, but some are certainly just fan created for ease of episode identification. Can we change them back to Episode 1, etc.? I don't mind doing it, but it's obviously a rather large change and I wanted to bring it up here first.

If they officially have no title you can of course change them back :)

So the FX airings in the U.S. don't have onscreen titles?
The BBC iPlayer is most likely going to match the BBC site. But I'm unclear what happens if the FX and BBC versions differ as far as having/not having an on-screen title.
Den of Geek/UK does refer to it as "Shovels and Keys." It seems odd for a UK site to use a non-UK title.
Since the episode doesn't air in the U.S. until 1/10, it would have to wait until then to confirm in any case. But if the U.S. version does have an onscreen title of "Shovels and Keys"... what then?

Then we go ask the wizard :)
Well, this would be the first known case of such an incident, we will see then, for now, we only have official sources with "Episode 1".

Cool. I have to head out shortly, but I'll trawl through the BBC press centre just to triple check they've not been hiding anything when I get back and then go about the necessary changes. Thanks. :)

I don't know what the first part means.
My concern, regardless of the answer, is that what's the point of changing it if someone changes it back? If the on-screen titles are more official, how would anyone using the BBC site know that the previous contributor used the on-screen titles?
Please correct this episode air date. The correct date is 17 January 2017. Thanks!

"Then we go see the wizard" was ajoke, guess that joke got lost :)
As this is a one of a kind situation for now, I really think we don't have to start a huge discussion about it. If the US has on on-screen title (which I seriously doubt), then we can find a solution.
cheers
