There's no commercials like a broadcast network, but they could use any leftover time to do in-house ads for their shows. The same could be said for BBC. Episode could run 58 minutes, but they don't schedule anything for those 2 minutes, so we'd put 60. Can't see what this past Sunday's schedule is, but this upcoming Sunday's schedule says episode 2 episode is runtime is 57 minutes but scheduled timeslot is 60.

@JuanArango @Nivekolsen

you all obviously know better than me about this... we can see the schedule from hbo.com for season 2 of the show but please see what to do about the season 1 runtimes because they are different everywhere

For webchannels and networks who do not use any commercials, we use the exact runtime of the episodes.

Oh ok thanks. So can you fix the season 1 & 2 runtimes then?

I did that already those are the actual runtimes of the episodes.

Question for our British contributors: did "The Language of Love" change his name into "Davina McCall's Language of Love" ? It sure did change the official link (which I had to update, because the old one was broken)

Can an episode be recreated for The Responder and I'll add the info? It existed in the past so I can't add it, thanks
Also the ordered episodes for season 1 should be 5. There's a few conflicting reports but found 3 press releases that say 5 :)

They don't use commercials, but wouldn't it go against policy to use exact runtime instead of the duration of the timeslot that HBO gave the episode? Like BBC, they could use that leftover time to show ads to promote their other shows. The next thing scheduled doesn't always begin immediately after the credits have ended.

BBC shows should be added with the times on the schedule not the runtime, unless episodes premiere on the BBC Web channels before airing on TV.

That was my point, if BBC is added with the full runtime from the schedule, because they also don't have 'standard' commercials, then shouldn't HBO be the same? Their timeslots cover more than the actual episode runtime.

Oh sorry I misread and thought you meant it the other way round 😂

all I can say is that we used the exact runtimes for channels like AMC, HBO and so on from the very start of tvmaze :)
