OK, some clarification about (main) images.

What the policy intends to tell you is that the highest possible resolution available for a particular image should be uploaded. It does not mean that the highest possible resolution image in the gallery should automatically be chosen as main image.

Instead, the content is what determines which image is most suitable as main image. The policy specifies (https://www.tvmaze.com/faq/14/show-extras#poster-main-image) some rules that should be used. If there are multiple suitable images, it's a subjective matter and the user ranks determine who has the final say: Head Contributors, then Curating, then Trusted, then Supporting, then regular users.

If you think a show's main image should be updated, feel free to request the change, but if you find a higher ranking user that disagrees with your request please just accept that and move on. Again, when it's a subjective matter there is no wrong or right, so we can't keep arguing about it forever.

Instead, please vote on the image that you think is more suitable as main image. It's always been the intention to make voting determine which image should be used as main image, but so far the voting on images isn't used enough to justify that change. I'm open to suggestions though, f.e. something like automatically setting the highest ranked image as main image as soon as one image has received at least X (10?) votes.

In the series "Chaos In Court" there is a bogus episode in season 2.  https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/2273368/chaos-in-court-2x08-throwing-away-their-shot should not be there.  What is shown as season 2 episode 9 and 10 should be 8 and 9 per the networks episode list here.

Wouldn't the originating network be the definitive source for actual episodes though?  I'm just trying to figure out how to label these since the discovery channel doesn't reference any other episodes.  Could this be a special?

Also, thefutoncritic has another anomaly, what's up with the two different listings for season 2 episode 10?  Couldn't we use the originating networks info as a source?

Usually futon relies on press releases, I will look into it :)

Hi

I'm trying to add a person who was born in Kosovo but that country is not listed there. Can we get it added?

Thanks

To be fair, Futon also shows the Kenan special as episode 201. US networks don't know how to handle specials, I guess because they don't have the experience the UK ones do with the practice lol Seems more like they follow the codes and airdates than if a network actually considers it a special, like with most US network websites.

Hi, can someone please add the season 8 premiere date for Masters of Illusion? According to the official press release, it is slated to air on April 9. I would do it myself, but since it was created before, I can't do it, so if you could please help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
