Why would you keep duplicate stuff on file?

A few years ago, original Scooby-Doo had 2 seasons only. But someone added third season to it which is same as that separate show (which only lists 9 instead of 16 episodes for some reason).

But it makes sense to add it as season 3 rather than new show, just because different network took it and created new season.

But sure, whatever you do, you will either have to remove season 3 from original show (and add missing episodes to new show) or probably better option to delete new show that shouldn't have been created in the first place.

Let me know when this is resolved so I can add screenshots and cast to episodes, since at the moment I dunno where to add them ;))

As I said I'll be looking later, it's not a quick fix as it was correct in the first place. I'd sorted all the scooby listing's out years ago, with no duplicate episodes. If one network picked up a series years later that doesn't mean we automatically would add it to a already existing show that aired on a different network years earlier. I have work today and then I'll be looking.

Previously confirmed shows aren't a continuation so changed back to 3 separate shows.

Thank you!

Please delete these two entries.  They were separate and not of the show.

Could someone please correct the information for Contraband: Seized at the Border. Season 4 Episode 13 and Season 4 Episode 14 don't exist. Season 5 has started already. Here is a link to backup my words. (https://go.discovery.com/show/contraband-seized-at-the-border-discovery-atve-us)

...it's since been added as season 3 to the original series (https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/3358/scooby-doo-where-are-you) which seems to be correct.

Also, the show to be deleted shows only 9 out of 16 episodes so now sure why it was added as separate and in part only. Anyway, please mark it to be deleted since it's duplicate and redundant. First two seasons were CBS releases, and third one was released 8 years later by ABC. That is alright.

Fixed the 3rd season has been removed. The summary for the ABC show explains exactly why it's listed seperately, I think it only has 9 episodes as the other 7 are listed elsewhere or are repeats of the other shows that aired before it.

D.I. Ray (57928). Was wondering about the episodes for season 2. Futon says the finale airs on PBS July 21, but there's no episode list on their site. Did ITV not air this season? Thanks! http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/di-ray/listings/

Hi Tom, I found it duplicated yet again, added as Season 3 under "The Scooby-Doo Show" here...

https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/12807/the-scooby-doo-show/episodes

...it also has 16 episodes.

BTW, I downloaded this season 3 thinking it was original, and I can see the opening clearly says "The Scooby-Doo Show" and all 16 episodes' titles match.

So I am not sure if that reboot even exists since those episodes are under "The Scooby-Doo Show". So again, the reboot shows duplicate 9 episodes of 16 from season 3 of "The Scooby-Doo Show", and it you check release year, it matches the year after releases of seasons 1 and 2.

It seems strange that they re-released reboot, only 9 eps of season 3. But seeing how dates are also the same, then one of them is duplicate, and seeing how The SD Show started sooner and this feels like a natural continuation, plus I have season 3 videos as proof, this does feel to be season 3 of SD Show.

Well, I hope this was helpful and that you'll find a good way to solve this :)

Addition - please check the screenshots here - https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/606548/the-scooby-doo-show-3x01-watch-out-the-willawaw/gallery
(screenshots can be deleted, these are just so you have proof/reference for the episode, I'll later add more shots for each episode once this is handled)

I have uploaded opening shots from episode 1 so you can see it has "The Scooby-Doo Show" opening and then followed by episode title.

You can also see 1976 on The SD Show title, which matches to this being season 3 of that show.

Please delete episode 7 from The Big Bakeover | TVmaze. When I looked at TV Insider, it said that tonight was the season 1 finale. Thanks!

Andrew Zimmern's Wild Game Kitchen (78502). I've been watching this show for a few years. Isn't this just season 3 on a different network? Thanks! https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/tv-series/andrew-zimmerns-wild-game-kitchen

The description needs to be updated.? The differences may appear subtle but no..:      Now is a subscription over-the-top streaming television service operated by British satellite television provider Sky Group and American cable provider Xfinity. Launched in the United Kingdom in 2012, the service is also available in Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United States.

NOW has no original content that I can find...I don't understand why it's even shown now as a web channel. Is it more like freevee, tubi, I think many of the series tagged NOW should be SKYsomething. TVM list has Sky for UK, AUS, NZ,  geeze, all over except US.

When you click on the link on our pages shortcut you get a few pop ups..One saying "NOW TV is now available in the US.  Months ago I added it to my comcast xfinity account but I found it was just old crap. Any live stuff was sports and such.

Of Interest from WikiP  On 23 May 2023, Comcast (parent company of Sky Group) announced plans to launch a U.S. version of Now TV as part of its Xfinity cable and broadband unit, which will be priced at US$25 per month and include linear cable networks and free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) services from Xumo and other partners.

Clear as Mudd

(This post may need to be moved to another forum topic. I looked  - but everything that might apply seemed out of date.)

Now is definately a service with original content from Sky, we're subscribed to it. Tagging @JuanArango in here too as the German version also has the Sky boxsets on it to for their original shows.

I have uploaded opening shots from episode 1 so you can see it has "The Scooby-Doo Show" opening and then followed by episode title.

You can also see 1976 on The SD Show title, which matches to this being season 3 of that show.

A total of 40 episodes ran for three seasons, from 1976 to 1978, on ABC, marking the first Scooby Doo series to appear on the channel. Sixteen episodes aired as segments of The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour in 1976, while eight aired as part of Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics in 1977. A final set of sixteen episodes came out in 1978, with ten running individually under the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! name and the remaining six as segments of Scooby's All-Stars.

So we should have ten episodes in 1978 in the where are you Guide and the other six as All-Stars. The Scooby Doo Show was just a name for the over arching show, not how the segments premiered. Animation would air in these blocks or programming so The Scooby Doo Show would run for an hour and have repeated segments in it as well as the new segments.

The episodes from all of the three seasons have been rerun under the title The Scooby-Doo Show since 1980; these Scooby episodes did not originally air under this title.

The CW also confirmed that it was the finale during the airing (so there will be no more episodes after July 19th). Sorry for all the trouble! Thanks for your help!
