Hi. I have a question.

We previously had the Portuguese three-part miniseries *Amadeo* in our database; it was released on the Portuguese streaming service RTP Play this past July.

However, I’ve just discovered that it was deleted for some reason. Only "dead" links to the episodes remain:

https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/3686045/amadeo-1x03-episodio-3
https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/3686043/amadeo-1x01-episodio-1

I suspect whoever deleted it thought it was the 2023 film - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11143850/
But that’s not quite right. The film runs for only an hour and a half, whereas the series consisted of three 40-minute episodes. In other words, there was a significant amount of unique material involved.

Is it worth recreating the miniseries page, or will it just get deleted again? For reference, here is the link to the official site showing all three episodes and their descriptions: https://www.rtp.pt/programa/episodios/tv/p49215

And here is the IMDb link for the project: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt43622094/

Adding it back now

Please delete Season 26, and the eight episodes it contains, as they are all reruns (the show ended in 2020, with Season 25).

Please replace genre "Children" with genre "Music" for this show (there are no children in the show, only talking animals, trees, robots, older men and women, clouds, houses, etc).

Its a kids show, so Im sure the genre is fine. Why have you added multiple language voice dubs for the main character, when this is something we strictly don't allow?

Can you add the TVDB ID to Gate 24 please ?

Here's the page of the show on TVMaze https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/93437/gate-24-the-border/

And the TVDB ID : 480392 https://www.thetvdb.com/series/gate24

And would it be possible to change the season number for this show, it should be season 18 and not 19, I made a typo when I added it, sorry.

https://www.tvmaze.com/seasons/204169/scenes-de-menages-season-19

Thank you!

TVDB and IMDb external IDs added.

Season 18 numbered correctly. :)

Expedition Unknown S13E04 (Titled: Sharks vs. Nazis in Paradise) should be categorized as Episode 04 rather than a standalone special. Unlike typical specials that rely on Josh Gates' narration over dramatized reenactments, this was produced and structured as a full-length episode. Although it was quickly re-edited to premiere during Shark Week, it still retains the structure of a standard episode only with voice over added in post.

While many viewers skip this entry assuming it is just another clip show, major metadata providers including IMDb, TMDB, and TVDB officially classify it as S13E04. (TMDB lists it under Season 14 because it follows Max's cataloging system.) Major streaming platforms and digital stores, such as Apple TV, Philo, Discovery GO, YouTube TV, and Vudu, also officially classify it as S13E04.

Max, discovery+, and Amazon Prime Video separate it into its own special/spin-off entry, but these platforms frequently do that with specials from other series as well. Furthermore, Max’s cataloging for Expedition Unknown is notoriously broken, as they count Search for the Afterlife as a full season rather than a 4 part miniseries special, shifting all subsequent seasons up by one.

Given its production quality and its official S13E04 placement across many core metadata databases and primary storefronts like Apple TV and Philo, it belongs in the main season lineup as Episode 04.

Thank you for your time.

From what I read it was a crossover episode created for shark week and those other platforms also list the episode under Shark Week.

TV Maze's own policy (Episode Type) requires an official source to explicitly label an episode "special." I checked WBD's own press release (press.wbd.com, an official press kit, which is rank 2 in TV Maze's own valid sources list), and they have a clear, demonstrated pattern of explicitly labeling actual specials: "Egypt Live" is called "a special 2-hour event," "Louvre Heist: Minute by Minute" is called a "breaking news special," even a same-franchise sneak preview episode was called "a special preview episode." The Shark Week 2024 press release lists "Sharks vs. Nazis in Paradise" with no label at all, the same way it lists all the other regular episodes around it that night.

So there's a real pattern of WBD flagging specials by name when that's what they are, and this episode never got that treatment. It also doesn't fail the "unnumbered" test since Apple TV, YouTube TV, Vudu, Philo and more all list it as S13E04.

Neither condition in the policy's Episode Type section is met: no official source explicitly labels it "special," and it's not unnumbered.

I'd like to restore Sharks vs. Nazis in Paradise as S13E04 and the subsequent renumbering of episodes of Season 13 that was undone.
