It's just as you've done it. We leave the box blank, and suggest writing a line or two in the bio making reference to it for others who may visit the page. See Dani Martineck or Lachlan Watson for examples. :)

So I requested a show a couple of days ago and it was approved, but now someone has gone and added like 3 seasons of episodes from another show on there.. Do I really have to spend the time deleting all of those? What can I do?

There's no practical reason to merge empty pages. Tracey Bennett at least had a photo, while the other two had literally nothing, so I just deleted them :)
Can you remove the tvdb id from https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/18996/brief-encounters this id (313785) should then be assigned to https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/9816/brief-encounters.
