Edit Requests

So I can add this episode, right? Does it fit all requirements?

Well, it was broadcasted, and it seems different from the actual first episode, so yeah, I can't see why not list it as a special episode.

And what kind of message did you send me?

It was a long time ago, you should look in your inbox to find it (an envelope icon in top right corner, left to your avatar). Something about the policy on episode runtimes I suppose.
Usually when we notice people making edits against TVmaze policy, we temporarily ban them and send a message with explanation. When people respond and understood, they got unbanned and continue to edit. You're never responded, so your ban was never lifted.

I just did not know that I must respond, but I've read and understood the message.

Just to clarify, you mean the appearance?

Is the one you added a separate person?

"The Pilot Episode" - 26 August 1991. 26 minutes.
Show: "Doctor Who" (1963).

What season is this, the first (1963-1964) or the twenty-sixth (1989)?

What should I name the episode? In the opening credits, he is called "An Unearthly Child", but there is already an episode with that name. On the BBC website, it is called "The Pilot Episode." Maybe I should call him "An Unearthly Child (The Pilot Episode)"?

it belongs to the 1963 season, I think naming it An Unearthly Child (The Pilot Episode) would be the best thing to do.

Here. I indicated a duration of 30 minutes, because of that.

"The Curse of Fatal Death" ("Doctor Who") was broadcast as four parts.  You can see it on the site. I’m not sure if the parts were separated by start and end credits, as I couldn’t find the broadcast version anywhere. On physical media, the series was released first as two parts, then as one. What should I do?

this is a tough decision, I would do it as four parts as it was broadcasted this way.

Why?

YouTube is a global web channel, and have nothing to do with the show's language, which is determined by the show's "Language" property. The same is true for any other global web channel, like Netflix of Amazon Prime Video.

Honestly, I would not list is as a part of the DW, but rather as a stand-alone mini-series, and link it to the classic series as serial specials. Four parts, as it was premiered.

That is also a valuable option of course.

Not exactly sure where the four parts bit comes from.

Looking at the genome site, it says "Doctor Who (part 3). The star-studded finale." - so unless I'm misunderstanding, wouldn't it be three parts?
