I merged the rest of duplicate Panellist entries. Just to be clear – roles under their own names are also need to be separate?

The Anchor is the main presenter of each show, whilst the panellists form the group for discussion. I think this will need to keep been addressed as I work through the episodes, adding main cast and guest appearances :).

I get the Anchor idea :)

What I've meant is that Kaye Adams, for example, appears as three separate characters: Anchor, Panellist and Kaye Adams (herself). Is it supposed to be like that?

Sorry, I misunderstood. Sometimes the people classed as 'Panellists' will appear in episodes were they aren't appearing in the panel, for example a film from outside the studio, they would not be credited for appearing as the stars of this episode. Kaye is the only 'Anchor' who for a brief time last year also appeared as a 'Panellist', but she was still appearing primarily as a 'Anchor' of the show.

Yeah, but what about her appearances as herself https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/716095/loose-women-kaye-adams? Shall I leave it alone, or it also need to be merged into Panellist?

Maybe this screenshot will help me explain what I'm talking about :) https://imgur.com/0pTZRIs

She is just appearing as herself in those episodes not as part of the panel for the day :), so the two roles need to be kept separated please.

Ok, got it now :)

It's all set then, all duplicates are merged and other characters preserved :)

Can episodes 128-131 of season 24 of Loose Women be deleted please, no episodes aired on these dates but had been added into the database at the time.

On 'Spider-Man' (1981-82) can Walter S. Burr and Wally Burr be combined into one person please. Can you also sanitise any 'Various' appearing actors. Thanks!

Could you, please, reuse existing characters instead of creating a new one in each episode? Yesterday I've cleaned dupes from Loose Women, and today I see that Kaye Adams portrays six different Panellist characters yet again https://imgur.com/a/5bSB6SK

Same is true for Spider-Man as well. Actually I'm not sure that there should be one "Various" character per each actor. I think for cleanliness sake we could use one character entry for all "Various" credits.

There is no way of doing it - if you type 'Panellist' as a character into Loose Women, Kaye doesn't appear and same for 'Spider-Man' too.

Ha! True.

@david could you look at this, please? It seems that character search is limited to 10 results.

@tnt May I ask you why you changed the names in episodes 4-6 from "America's Largest Ball of Twine (Kansas)" to "Ball of Twine (Kansas)"? The series themselves indicate the name that I quoted. Here is a screen for you - https://funkyimg.com/i/33Nex.jpg

Well, I didn't watched it yet, but the names came from the app itself https://imgur.com/a/THngoa5

Anyways, if you intend to use on-screen name, it should be written exactly as it appears on-screen. And I can't see any parentheses or part numbers in the on-screen title. That's why, in my opinion, the names from the app's episode guide are better suited for the listing.

As for parentheses - maybe. Here is at your discretion. But to separate episodes coming out in a row and having the same name into parts is the norm for the site, isn’t it? At the very least, I very often saw these Part 1, Part 2 ...
In any case, the full names of the three episodes I have provided you. Act in accordance with your policy or as you want. I will not change anything.
