Weird, I agree. Starz doing exactly the same with Vida and Hightown (and as far as I remember with any other series). So either we change all Starz shows to Starz Play, or we move Outlander back to Starz.

@gazza911 what do you think we should do with the Starz shows?

We use the season consistency & airdates owner sections from the episodes data policy

It even has an example of Starz vs Stars Play;

"Da Vinci's Daemons (Season 3 premiered on Starz Play instead of the Starz network - they are considered the same owner, so Starz Play wins)"

Well, S3 of DaVinci Demons was binge released on Play https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/197/da-vincis-demons/episodes

All other Starz (also Showtime and some AMC) series being released on demand about 12 hours prior to broadcast on the same day. We've discussed the similar situation with AMC/AMC Premiere, and as far as I remember we've agreed to use this rule for binge releases only, leaving weekly series on broadcasting network https://www.tvmaze.com/threads/2677/edit-requests?page=335#52034

Maybe it's time to update the policy?

Could you ask the guys to update the policy? Having this agreement documented in forums only is of little help :)

And anyway, in case of the Outlander, what's the point of moving the show to web channel, but keep using broadcast schedule? :D

Just a slight note for you Tom. We do take production value into account now too, so it's not always the first one to broadcast right now anymore.

F.e if Network A is involved with production, but Network B will air it a few days ahead and is not involved with production, we will use the airing dates of Network A (Only if there is not a huge difference in days), but as Discovery airs worldwide, I think it's safe to say that we'll simply follow the dates of the first discovery broadcast anywhere.

Brilliant, thank you for the heads up :)

The upcoming 3-night Grant miniseries on History Channel is only 3 episodes (not 6). Each night is a 2 hour episode and not two 1 hour episodes as originally set up. Please remove episodes 4-6 from the episode guide. Thank you.
