Hi, this show https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/53754/lovely-bites-by-chef-lovely/episodeguide is on OWN channel https://www.oprah.com/app/lovely-bites.html  with 7 episodes (aired starting Nov. 2020)
We have 6 episodes with different names (like Futon from Discovery Plus http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/lovely-bites-by-chef-lovely/listings/ which aired starting Jan. 2021)

We need some light on this :)
Thank you!
(btw: I changed the network from discovery+ to OWN; hope it's OK since the official website was from OWN)

as I cannot access the Oprah site, someone else has to check this.

Castlevania tv series...

https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/25242/castlevania/cast

...have rather inaccurate appearance of many of the main cast characters.

This is mostly because opening credits video is the same across the season and mentions them all even if they only appear in single episode.

So many of them are "Credited only" but that option doesn't exist for main cast, only for guest cast. But in one other tv series, I saw we had one of main cast added under guest cast under "credited only". So if that is the right way to handle things, then many of these will need fixing.

For example, Dracula's wife, Lisa Tepes is credited through entire season 1 and 2 but she is killed in first episode of season 1 and only appears in 1 or 2 other episodes showing past events. Godbrand is main cast for season 2, but he is killed in mid season and doesn't appear in last 4 episodes at all. The Bishop introduced in first episode of season 1 definitely doesn't appear throughout entire 1st and 2nd season, and so on. Is it alright to keep it like this?

Some half-a-year ago I remember submitting here fixing for main cast appearance for Step by Step tv series where although opening credits video was the same, sometimes some of the main characters did not appear in certain episode at all and were hence removed from those episodes. Should the same be done to Castlevania? Should I submit correction for which main character did not appear in which episode or leave it as is?

No, it's not. Main cast members either appearing or not. Do you remember the name of the show?

^^^That would've been nice, thank you.

So just let me see if I understood this correctly. When main cast is "credited only" but don't appear we don't list them at all. But when guest cast is "credited only" but don't appear we do credit them? I wonder what's even the point of adding credited actor that had nothing to do or did not appear in the episode? imdb.com does that, though, for any cast. Adding "uncredited" cast makes sense, of course.

As for Castlevania, I've just watched first two seasons but don't want to go by my memory alone and will pull that info from imdb.com, they keep track of that per every episode. Actually, they list some I am not sure so will only list those I am certain as I recently watched them:

Alucard - does not appear in episode 1x02 and 1x03.

Sypha Belnades - does not appear in 1x01 and 1x02.

Carmilla - does not appear in 2x01

Vlad Dracula Tepes - does not appear in 1x02, 1x03, 1x04, and 2x08.

Lisa Tepes - does not appear in 1x02, 1x03, 1x04, 2x02, 2x03, 2x04, 2x05, 2x06, 2x07 and 2x08.

The Bishop - does not appear in 1x02, 2x02, 2x03, 2x04, 2x05, 2x07 and 2x08.

Godbrand - does not appear in 2x05, 2x06, 2x07 and 2x08.

The point is that the actor becomes linked to the show. The guest star could be initially appearing in 1 episode, but then their scene was cut out from the final edit (but may later be added to home video or streaming edition), but their name was still listed in the credits. By adding them as credit only we could at least link them to the show (however, this is not mandatory). Main cast members already linked to the show, and the main cast section of the episode is named "Cast appearance", so we use it only to mark episodes when they actually appear. Needless to say, that many (if not the most) scripted and animated shows are listing all regulars in the opening credits, despite their appearance in the episode. I hope this makes sense?

Please, never use IMDb as a source for the appearances. Not only if is directly forbidden by our policy https://www.tvmaze.com/faq/16/episode-extras, but also the accuracy of their appearance data could vary from slightly incorrect to absolute bullshit. Being an occasional contributor to IMDb I know that they are very slow and stupid in fixing things, and often reject absolutely legit corrections, so their data is not reliable in that matter and cannot be fully trusted.
