First two seasons of Defiance all had thumbnail-size screenshots or very small resolution ones, so added few higher-resolution shots for each episode, so small ones (which shouldn't have been added for a show in HD) can be deleted.

John Bellah played "Crewman I" in Star Trek (1x02) and "Laughing Crewman" in Star Trek (1x04).

The character photo used for Crewman I is actually from episode 1x04 and should be moved to Laughing Crewman character.

I am not sure because the character isn't named. He could technically be portraying different crewman in both episodes or he could be portraying the same one credited differently. It's the same actor and in the end credits he is credited as Crewman I and Laughing Crewman respectively. Don't know if he's supposed to represent the same crewman, though.

Often, in Perry Mason episodes they reuse same actor to portray several different Judges in court and while sometimes they mention them by name like Judge Stevens or Judge Malone, sometimes they just credit one as Judge and name isn't visible in the show, and in such cases generic word Judge cannot be connected to any of the ones with the name and is added as a separate character.

Since we can't be sure, I'd keep Crewman I and Laughing Crewman as separate characters. Note that they were initially merged under the name "Crewman I". But I cannot say that was correct since each episode is lacking half of the credits so the credits were probably copied from some site rather than added from the actual episodes.

Originally Fox did 3 seasons from 2001 to 2003. They didn't renew for season 4, but USA Network bought rights and started the series with same premise, four couples on an exotic island/place come and get split to mingle with over dozen singles and test their relationships. Even the host, Mark L. Walberg, is the same on USA Network show. So their new season 1-3 from 2019-2021 should actually be renamed to season 4, 5, and 6 and merged to the original show. The only real difference is the new network.

This is sort of the same thing as how Lucifer started as Fox TV show and was canceled but then bought and continued by Netflix. Only in case of Temptation Island it took 15 years to continue the series, but this isn't anything new and we have many such shows with long time gaps and similar way of switching networks.

Only if all of the following are true, the continuation should be part of the existing show entry:
The new network/web channel refers to the show as a continuation
The new network/web channel does not refer to the pilot as "season 1"
...
In all other cases, a new show entry should be created.

no easy way now, only via browser's dev. tools.

Right click on the picture >> Inspect >> look for the URL (picture link) in the source code (a thumbnail of the picture should show if you're with the mouse pointer over the link) :)
