The "number" is "2021" but it would make more sense to be the "name" in this case. This should be the first season (The "2021 Season" if you will.) so the number should be "1" and the name should be "2021". The same applies to the second season ( https://api.tvmaze.com/seasons/129628 )

It's not an API issue, simply how we do year based shows.

We do years as seasons by putting the year as the season number - https://www.tvmaze.com/season/update?id=129627

The name is for if the season has a specific name that differs from the show's name.

Big Noon Kickoff on FOX is in season 3 now (not season 1 as listed). It started in 2019. I know the previous episodes for 2019 and 2020 have not been entered as of yet but this season needs to be edited to season 3.
