Reminder: Do not use FamousBirthdays as a data source

In my experience, FamousBirthdays, more often than not, publishes false TV celebrity birthdays. It's not a bad source for social media stars, but for television actors and actresses, unless it's someone super famous, more often than not they are completely wrong. It's ridiculous.

I was reminded of this tonight when I decided to look up a random TV actress's birthday. I found that said actress's Wikipedia article showed a different birthday than FamousBirthdays.com. So I decided to do some digging and see which one was right. After finding proof, it was just as I expected. FamousBirthdays was wrong. TVmaze was showing the false FamousBirthdays birthday (now corrected). So I decided to post this reminder to stay away from that site.

Again, FamousBirthdays is not a bad source if you're looking for a social media star's birthday. But it should be avoided when looking up television stars' birthdays.

Usually when the person's date of birth is publicly known, it will be mentioned on IMDb or Wiki. If it's not listed on either, the good chance that the info is bogus. The most trustworthy sources would be official social media accounts or talent agency's page.

After doing some digging, I found there are two other sites that showed the wrong birthday and age for Bresha Webb. So I agree. Verified social media accounts and official sources are the best sources. People search and birth search sites are also generally good sources provided you find the right person record.

IMDB/Wikipedia are also usually pretty reliable but have been known to be wrong. Like Sofia Black-D'Elia: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3733763/?ref_=tt_cl_t2 and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sofia_Black-D'Elia Her birthday is December 24th according to official sources, but IMDB and Wikipedia both incorrectly say Dec 23rd. TVmaze also shows the wrong date of birth for this actress.
