Question about multi-part episode spanning multiple series

on Oct 11, 2014 at 8pm, The Thundermans aired a 30 minute special called Haunted Thundermans. The end credits called it Part One with the Haunted Hathaways cast guest starring.

immediately after that at 8:30pm, The Haunted Hathaways aired a 30 minute special also called Haunted Thundermans. The end credits called it Part Two with the Thundermans cast guest starring. The combined effect was a one hour cross over special.

I have added Haunted Thundermans to TVmaze twice, one to each series. Both times I called it Haunted Thundermans and did not use a (Part 1) suffix as per the data policies. They are under Specials also as per the data policies (The TV promo called it a 1 hour crossover special)

Did I do this correctly?

Without having seen them I would say the 30 min Thundermans Special should be listed only in the Thundermans series and the 30 min Hathaway special should only be listed in the Hathaway series.

We do the same with Other crossovers, for example Arrow/Supergirl/The Flash, each episode is only listed under the show it aired.

cheers

Juan

Thanks. The only other question I have is with the titles for each part. I didn't use Part One and Part Two because the data policies say not to if it isn't part of the original title. Should I add Part One and Part Two to the titles? If so is there a preferred format for doing that?

If they are listed on the official site use the same way, if not you can just use Part 1 and part 2.

Per original press release:
"8:00 p.m. - The Haunted Hathaways and The Thundermans (one-hour crossover special) "Haunted Thundermans Pt I and II"

Here's your format :) You could also rewrite episode summaries and add reference for the second part of the crossover in each.
