not for now, we talked so many times to you and you ignored us again and again.....you simply are not able to follow the rules of tvmaze.

I now fully understand to leave special and regular episodes of shows alone by the running of TV Maze's editing policy (though it should be complying with the listings of the shows' broadcasters i.e. BBC, ITV etc.). I now know that if wikipedia has an episode down as a special, it should be the same on TV Maze. I was actually half way through adding episodes to other shows as they were missing.

this comes a bit too late, we told you this many, many times and you never listened and went against the rules every single time. maybe sometime in the future the ban will be lifted, but for now it stays.
I have learned my lesson now about making changes outside of the TV Maze editing policy. However, I would like to continue editing on the site. Would creating a new account on a different email solve this problem maybe?

are you being serious? if we see that you are circumventing the ban, we would also ban the new account of course.

Why would you ban the new account when I would create it under a different username and email address?
Your account isn't banned from editing because we don't like your email address, but because you have repeatedly ignored our data policies. Creating a new account doesn't change that fact. If we notice anyone trying to circumvent a ban, we would ban all of their accounts from the site completely instead of merely banning them from editing.
Of course I am trying to circumvent a ban because I am trying to get back to editing on here - which is what I am here to do
Have you really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

And staff is telling you they don't want you go get back to editing on TVMaze, because you weren't doing it per TVMaze standards despite repeated warnings. That could change in future, but trying to circumvent a staff ban isn't going to convince them.
If you circumvent a ban, it's still circumventing a ban. There may be sites out there that say, "Well, we banned you from doing X, but if you change your name to circumvent our ban then it's okay to do X." I haven't run into any, but the Internet is a big place. :) However, TVMaze is not one of those sites.
Don't the TV Maze staff like me? Do they think I am one of these internet trolls?

Dude, actions have consequences.
You where warned multiple times about not following the guidelines and time and time again you kept on ignoring the staff and their warnings so now you have to live with the consequences of your actions.
Even when I had my warning, I didn't actually make any further edits so unsure why I got banned at that point - I should have got banned if I got caught breaching TV Maze regulations after that warning which I didn't

as tnt stated, you continued even after the warning, now please let it rest.
I didn't make any edits after last warning - besides it only occurred on the Pointless Celebrities, Take Me Out and The Cube pages and no others. I was happily edited other shows with missing episodes with their dates following the policy until I got this ban

Your last edits on The Cube, when you moved special episodes to season 8 regulars occured late afternoon of 17th, after Juan gave you a last warning here in this thread. Besides that you've been asked not to mess with the specials several times before.
So stop arguing and wasting our time. All edits on TVmaze are literally recorded, so there's no reason to deny the facts.
For the time being if you want something added or changed, you could put a request in the Edit requests forum. If your further edits will prove to be legit and aligned with the policy, the ban could be lifted in a while.
Which of the policies should I refer to refresh my memory on the TV Maze policy for the future?

Which of the policies have I been breaching recently?

It doesn't really matter which ones exactly you break, simply that when given the benefit of the doubt and we explain the policy to you and you still ignore it, that's not okay.
In reality, you should know about the areas you're contributing to. If after reading the data policies you're unsure whether something is valid, or believe other people will have differing opinions then you can ask for clarification in the forums.
