Add Innocent episodes ...

Here's another ITV show that's been broadcast 1st outside the UK ... just like Lock Ness, aka The Lock on BBC First.

http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/19657/innocent

The show is currently defined as "In Development; premiering 2018"

Episode 1 is about to be broadcast on the ABC (AU) this coming Saturday, 3rd March @ 20:30, so I tried to check whether it has or hasn't been broadcast on ITV in the UK.

As far as I can tell, it hasn't been broadcast in the UK yet and I'm not sure when it will be, however, in doing so, I did find that its already been broadcast on TVNZ 1:

Episodes 1 & 2: Tuesday, 30/Jan/2018 @ 20:30

Episodes 3 & 4: Tuesday, 06/Feb/2018 @ 20:30

https://www.tvnz.co.nz/shows/innocent

So I'm wondering what episode dates/times & TV network should be used for the show?

Cheers

BazzaG...

It's not the same, though it looks like it.

Loch Ness is a BBC drama, and was premiered on BBC, but in the other country.

Innocent is ITV drama, and it's not made in co-production with ABC, and both ABC (AU) and TVNZ are not affiliated with ITV (AFAIK). As the policy states If a show has a single unambiguous owner throughout its lifetime, the episode airdates should be set to the premiere dates on the owner's TV Network or Web Channel. In this case ITV is a "single unambiguous owner," so we should stick to ITV dates.

Loch Ness is an ITV produced series, airing in Australia on BBC, but did air later on ITV.

Yeah, true, my mistake. Which begs the question, why do we using BBC dates if ITV is the owner? Or it's some mixed rights thing?

All I remember was there was a HUGE discussion on how that series was going to be listed.

It is, as mentioned numerous times, an all ITV series (commission, production, ownership).

BBC merely obtained the rights to air it in Australia, a situation similar to other ITV shows, such as this topic's series, Midsomer Murders, etc.

At some point, in another discussion, it was commented that as per the current TVmaze policy the showpage should indeed be edited to correctly reflect ITV as the owner, but nothing was ever done about it. If the policy originally didn't cover this situation, it certainly does now, so there is no reason to not resolve the issue once and for all. :)

And the title should be "The Loch", as normally shownames used in other countries are only listed here as a.k.a's (which language the other country uses shouldn't matter, if it had aired first in China, would TVmaze have used the Chinese title as showname?)

OK, can someone please add 4 "blank" episodes so that I can mark 'em as watched in the interim. These would be updated with the appropriate date/time when ITV does eventually broadcast the show in the UK.

Thanks Muchly...
