Fox brass trying to compare what is happening on Lethal Weapon with what happened on NYPD Blue (David Caruso leaving) is absurd and insulting. It's like trying to compare apples and oranges. Lethal Weapon is Murtaugh & Riggs, Riggs & Murtaugh ... period, full stop, end of subject. Just pull the plug on this abomination and move on.

Not at all. Recast Riggs or cancel the show. It worked for Darin, it can work for Riggs.
I saw some speculation that Stifler would be playing Rigg's brother. Done right I'd be ok with that.

Not sure how that's supposed to work. He was an only child until the last couple of episodes and then was shot by the half brother. Jus how many half-brothers are we supposed to accept here. Make a clean break and create a new character ...
Season 3 order is for just 13 episodes so Fox knows the show may (fingers crossed does) tank hard and fast. Cancel it. Bury it. Move on.
