RIP Space, Bravo, Comedy, and Gusto Channels

Space, Bravo, Comedy, and Gusto to be rebranded as CTV Sci-Fi, CTV Drama, CTV Comedy, and CTV Life ... WTF? OMG, can BellMedia possibly get anymore boring and/or stupid? Years were spent building these channels brand names and like their "flagship" shows they canceled (innerSPACE & Daily Planet) and flushed they are now going to go with bland, generic, Trumptonian names flushing away years of built up brand/channel recognition? Apparently all new contracts for CTV shows will require the actors to have CTV tattoed on their asses too. Jeez.

Seems I am the kind of person who does not care about a channel name, for me what counts is the shows they are airing )

It may also be I still have a burr up my butt about their cancellations ... and not just the recent ones ... shows, some on air for 40+ years just get yanked off ... cast & crew are called to a meeting in the morning, told shows over, you're fired, grab your stuff and get out ... Bell has been doing this for a number of years and they always say it was a financial decision but, if you look at their profits you see they make more than some smaller countries ... it's outrageous what they do and what they allowed to get away with.

The names may be uninspiring anyway, but honestly Space and Scifi/Syfy are a little misleading, since they both air fantasy shows and not just scifi. :p
