Shows on hiatus in Countdown

I like the Countdown feature, but I think it's incomplete without the shows, returning from hiatus (or just a long break).

Is it possible to add the series to Countdown, when the gap between the last aired and the next scheduled episode is more than a month (or whatever time period that seems appropriate)?

+1 Would be helpful, at least in North America, when the majority of shows take a Christmas break every year.

Some UK shows have more than a six months between episodes. Maigret for example.

It's not uncommon for canadian shows to split their seasons into 2 halves either. Private Eyes for example have a 10 month break in their current season.
