It is indeed because season 2 is added. Remove S02 will make it appear again.

Just removed it, so add it when the first episode aired.

IMO if adding a correct information breaks the system, it should be fixed by tuning the system, not by deleting the information.

Depends on the amount of work required and the likelihood of the issue occurring.

I think the likelihood is increasing all the time with shows getting multi-season orders or being renewed before the start of the current season.

I understand the work to result issue but have to agree with tnt, deleting data to "fix" the problem is like putting a band-aid on an axe wound. It should be at least tossed into the ToDo hopper.

Many streaming shows are being renewed before premiere, or even get the multi-season order from the beginning (like the mentioned above show).
