News roll / notification

IDK, maybe something is already planned, but anyways.

The "News" feature is cool, but definitely lacks some way for users to be notified, when the shows they follow have some news updates. Or some kind of the news roll at the main page, where users could choose, do they want news only for the followed shows, or for all/US/UK etc. (similar to Calendar, Countdown and Schedule filter).

There's an empty space below the 'Recently added shows', so maybe they could be moved down, and the news roll could fit right above them, below the 'Recent articles'.

Or add NEWS between Articles & Schedule in the menu bar near the top. It could be like the forum pages and just keep rolling along and, at some point when the coders have the time, add the filters like you suggest.

I like something on the main page too.

Hi tnt & silversurfer. You guys haven't seen it yet. But we're working on a news block for the frontpage.
Will likely go live in a week or two.

notifications are also planned. no eta yet.
