As we know from the hint in the first season and later confirmed, Captain Pike will be in the second season. The trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDIlBDRkPDI) for the second season seems to hint that Spock may appear.

Spock is beloved and having his character appear will probably goose viewership and generate buzz ... and more than a few online clashes about anything & everything to do with his appearance(s).

He should be about the same age as Quinto's Spock. It would be really cool (but highly unlikely) if they've managed to get Quinto somehow :)

Well he has good acting genes at least. I hope the storyline(s) do him and the character justice. I wish him the best of luck on the show and a thick skin for the all too frequent social media thrashing he is about to receive.
