Formatting tools (bold, italic etc.) in the text editor of the "Create News" tool does not working. However, when pasting formatted text, the formatting stays intact.
It works properly for me, although the auto-link feature of the text editor did suddenly stop working for me on some browser versions.
I don't really know what to tell you or what to do about this. Browser vendors seem to particularly hate you if you dare to implement a simple text editor. :-/

I've checked, and it's working in Safari, but doesn't work in Chrome (which I use). Actually everything works, except bold and italic.
Anyways, looks like there's nothing you could do :(
BTW, is video embedding supposed to be working?
