S. E. Cupp Unfiltered

Hey, TVmazers:

Need help figuring out this one.

CNN moved S. E. Cupp Unfiltered (https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/31824/s-e-cupp-unfiltered) from HLN to CNN appearing weekly on Saturdays at 18:00 (6 pm) in the US Eastern Time zone. This started on August 25, continued on September 1 and 8, 2018, and goes till CNN changes it.

Currently, the show page reflects the schedule as Monday to Thursday at 19:00 while it was on HLN. This is consistent with the episode listing from when the show started August 25, 2017, through January 31, 2018, with exceptions around major holidays. But the listed episodes stop there.

So, do the missing episodes from February to August 2018 need listing? If so, what’s their accurate source to update the series? Or, should the new episodes on CNN just be added starting with August 25 and not worry about the 6-month, 3-week gap? If so, how should the gap be annotated to avoid reader confusion?

It's easy to change the network and schedule information. But...the fact that it was on HLN Monday to Thursday at 19:00 explains the schedule before moving to CNN. To me, this is important and should not be lost. How should that be kept in the show record for historical purposes?

Accurate information is important to all of us or we wouldn't be TVmazers. Thanks as always for any guidance and thoughts.

Joe

The missing episodes should be listed as they aired. The source for that should be the official network site or press releases. The show page should reflect the schedule and network as they are right now.

cheers

Juan

I made the show changes and added a news item, a bit old but since we still had old info it's news to us. The news will stay with the show and so will explain the recent change now and into the future.

The gap in episodes is not uncommon for shows like this. Adding episodes is not automatic and is most often done by someone who follows these shows ... sometimes they stop following the show or just stop adding episodes. Feel free to have a go at adding the missing episodes yourself if you wish. You message here does serve as a type of annotation of what's what with the show.

Thanks Joe for taking the time to write up and point out the changes in the shows schedule and network. TVmaze is a collaborative effort and is only as good and accurate as it's members make it ... your efforts are appreciated.
