Halo or Shadow Effects When Rating Episodes

I can't be sure, but I think after I watch an episode that I did not like, other viewing that day has a shadow cast on it and I rate other episodes, from the same or different shows, lower. Conversely, I think there is a Halo Effect on episodes if I watch one that I particularly enjoyed more than normal I rate other things I watch that day a bit higher than I should.

Is it just me or do you have the same kinda reactions? Do other things impact your ratings? Fights with the spouse, kids, people next door? Dog dropped a deuce on the carpet? Pizza was late and had the wrong toppings? Dog dropped a deuce on the pizza? Your credit card bill arrives? Your mother-in-law arrives? Your mother-in-law dropped a deuce on the carpet?

Can't say that I have the same reaction, even if I had to deal with my in-laws droppings before :D

My rating, however, is totally show dependent, I mean how high my expectations are, and how good is the episode for this particular show. So 9 stars for some episode of Salvation would equal about 6 stars for the GoT episode.
