Tourist

Lads,

https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/38922/tourist

I recently approved this series, however I am not sure whether we allow such thing. (Only discovered it later)

It is a Japanese series of PAVAMA in which all 3 episodes will broadcast on a different network.

Episode 1 will air on TBS

Episode 2 will air on TV TOKYO

Episode 3 will air on WOWOW

Are we going to list it? And if so, how?

It is not allowed according to policy:
Our definition of a TV show is something that premiered on television and has at least two episodes/parts in a serial format, i.e. the two episodes should correlate to each other, air on the same network, and have an overlap in plot/cast/crew.

In that case, it is scheduled for deletion.

Is this actually a 3 episode series? I mean out in the real world ... not as defined by TVmaze rules. If this is in fact a series, that just happens to air each episode on a different network then, IMHO, rather than ignoring it as a series it should serve as a catalyst for discussion on the rules/policy and whether amendments are required to keep up with the times. ymmv

I suppose it would require a fair amount of changes in the database code, allowing to store the network for each episode. Which would help also in situations like this https://www.tvmaze.com/threads/3295/mid-season-network-change

Until then there's no reason to change the policy, since there's no way to keep the accurate information.
