Anybody here who used to frequent TV.com's "What to Watch Tonight"?

There was a small dedicated group of us who tried very hard to keep that feature alive, but since the corporate overlord who manages that site decided to abandon it like an old, unused amusement park, it's been harder and harder. Over the past few days it's been impossible to even log into the site at all. I know some of the frequent reviewers have migrated here (hi Gislef) but I was curious if any of the members at large are here as well.

I used to use tvrage because they had the schedule page, which is why I started coming here... but before I came here, I used TV.com for the daily watch stuff (I prefer the weekly monthly schedule here because I like mapping out what I have to watch that week instead of having to do it one day at a time) and continued using it even after coming here for the news features... TV Guide really boffed tv.com when they bought it. Surprised they even leave the site up since they haven't bothered with news since March.

Greets. I just do some reviewing here: my stepson is more involved on TVMaze. Yep, I haven't been able to log on, either. That's happened before, so maybe it'll snap out of it, maybe it won't. But if it does, it'll probably happen again... and again... and again, until it grinds to a halt.

'What to watch' was a news article with a list + summarisations of shows that would air on that day right?
You're welcome to bring segment over to us and whoever is interested in maintaining those or writing show/episode reviews. :)

Shelley would be really happy to find out more have joined her writers team.

Just let me know if you're interested and we'll get the ball rolling.

Oh yes, this sounds like a great idea! If you and your group are interested in moving the concept over here, please email me, we can talk.

I've been frequenting TV.COM for years but only really to find out when the next episode of US TV Shows would be aired (I'm in the UK). I had no idea about what's been going on over the last few years and it appears they've now removed all the user profiles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TV.com

So I browsed for a replacement and I think TVMAZE suits my needs better anyway!

Hi Meachp,

Happy to hear it. Also, if there are features you feel are missing you're welcome to point them out and make suggestions.

best,

Jan
