When the name of a show changes after it premieres.

I've taken this to mean that once a show premieres, that's the name we use to index the show even if the network changes the name of the show later. Is that right?

I found this:

The name must be the original name given by the network or web channel. There must be no suffixes like "(UK)" or "(2013)" that are not part of the original show name. If a show doesn't have a name or working title, it should not yet be added.

It does not say what happens if the original network changes the name.

So this would be open for discussion.

My vote for scripted shows would be to use the most recent name.

Actually that's what we've been doing so far, leaving the previous (original or w/t) name as AKA.

Just write the old title as an AKA and perhaps as season title for season 1 perhaps?

Agreed, use the final/most recent name and add working titles as AKA.

Thanks but the data policy is confusing because it says the name must be the original name given by the network or web channel. I think you meant to say the name must be the final/most recent name given by the network or web channel. I recommend correcting that for clarification in the future.
