Can you delete the Long Island Medium special episode titled Beyond the Read: Will Victoria Say Yes? I created it in error.

Thanks,

Debbie

What are those "Beyond the Read" episodes? Looks like some sort of serialized "extended" specials, which are 1) should meet the policy's requirement for the extended version of the show: should offer a runtime that's at least 25% longer (of actual footage - not commercials) than the original; 2) if that requirement is met, they should be separated in their own entry Long Island Medium: Beyond the Read.

Otherwise they are considered a duplicate, therefore should be deleted and never added again, not in this show, not in any other.

TLC called them 'special' episodes.

Well, TLC may call them whatever they want :)
Scripps owned networks (now Discovery owned) are well known for repacking episodes and selling them as "specials", "extended" whatever. I see that there's one "special" for each episode in the season. TVmaze policy is clear on that matter: Specials should be rare. Unless unequivocally declared as such by the original network, if a season has nearly as much specials as regular episodes, you're most likely doing it wrong. Specials should be standalone and not in a serial format with other specials. For example, if each episode in a season is followed by an "after show" or "webisode", those episodes should be in a dedicated show entry.

Highlights are indicating, where those "specials" fall. Hence they should be moved to a dedicated entry, but only if they meet the 25% requirement for extended versions. Otherwise they should be deleted.

no need to be sorry, those extended episodes are always tricky with those networks :)

Yeah, everything "special" from networks like TLC, HGTV, DIY should be taken with a grain of salt. They are known for re-airing old episodes adding one or two on-screen "fact sheets" etc., which was proven by our users on numerous occasions. So, if there's one "special" episode per each regular one, they have the same title as a regular ones and do not offer an extended runtime—just ignore them :)

They have also renamed shows, the episodes, and shuffled the order to confuse the viewer
