The View is listed here on a yearly basis however the show, if you watch, clearly is on a season schedule (aprox Sept to June/July/August) and the official site uses seasons. (eg yesterday is listed as S23E103).
I'm not suggesting previous data be amended given the work vs the payoff/interest however, I think going forward the show should revert to a season type numbering.

I think it is not allowed to mix year- and season-based numbering in the same show, it will definitely mess up the sorting.
I suppose the reason behind year-based numeration is that press releases don't mention season/episode, only date.
The above is actually true for Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Talk, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden and probably some other talk shows.
But I suppose there's no easy way to convert years to seasons?
Nor likely a big demand. Most of these shows' episodes come then go within days for the majority of people. Converting the past, while being accurate, would likely be too much work for too little payoff other than accuracy. That's why I think we should fix the shows that need fixing now and going forward and leave the past errors in the past. ymmv
