CBS Renews 18 Series, Including Freshmen ‘FBI: Most Wanted’, ‘Bob ♥ Abishola’, ‘All Rise’ & ‘The Unicorn’

CBS has renewed 18 more series for 2020-21 including the majority of its drama lineup and a trio of comedies.

The broadcaster has picked up dramas All Rise, Blue Bloods, Bull, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, MacGyver, Magnum P.I., NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, Seal Team and S.W.A.T., comedies Bob ♥ Abishola, The Neighborhood and The Unicorn, news programs 60 Minutes and 48 Hours and reality series Undercover Boss.

‘Man With A Plan’, ‘Tommy’, ‘Carol’s Second Act’ & ‘Broke’ Canceled By CBS

CBS this morning renewed 18 shows for a total of 23 scripted/reality series and newsmagazines picked up for next season. Left off the list were freshmen Tommy, Carol’s Second Act and Broke and comedy Man with a Plan, now in its fourth season. The development is not surprising: All four had been on shaky ground and now have been canceled.

I'll kinda miss Man With a Plan but never saw the other 3.

To be honest , none of the shows I have watched so far :)

Tommy had the potential to be Blue Bloods with a female lead. They didn't really manage to pull it off, tho, so no big loss.

Tommy was really brilliant. The opposite of Deputy tackling the same issues. It's a pity. Really liked it.

Uh, no. Didn't see it so that's why I posted it ... what am I missing?

Has to be said that most of our users can find the headlines on deadline and variety just fine on their own without a forum post linking to it.

Just trying to help people find info that may be of interest and, perhaps, stimulate a little conversation. If you want to take your POV to the extreme end, people can find all the info on this site on other sites just fine on their own as well ... should TPtB shut down the servers and turn out the lights?

That's hardly relevant.

That said the majority of your posts mostly just make me wish there was a unsubscribe feature for the chat sub on the forum as it's mostly just rehashed old frontpage news or biased opinions on american politics.

Oh, so a point that shows the flaw in your statement is irrelevant. I see, you are one of the "don't confuse me with facts" folk. That's all I need to know. 'Nuff said.

Hey I'm not the one saying not posting frontpage tv news on the forum is comparable with shutting the site down.
