I don't know if there is institutional memory on the subject of Shark Tank. Under "Related shows" it is the original, however it is the US version of a UK show that originated in Japan. Has this been previously discussed? A cursory glance at search results didn't have anything jump out. Any info/guidance appreciated. TiA

Of course, it is incorrect and the user who added those relations obviously did not know the subject well enough and do not bother themselves with proper research. Same old...
We don't have the original Japanese show in the database, so it needs to be added first, and then it became a parent of all subsequent versions. I can get to it later today, or maybe someone has some spare time earlier. Meanwhile, I'll remove incorrect relationships.

Ok, I've added the Japanese original and relations of the shows I know of. Maybe I've missed something, so any additions are welcome, as well as adding episodes to the original show ;)

@tnt are all of those foreign remakes of the original?

Is it not some of them are foreign remakes of Dragon's Den?

Tiger of Money (or Money Tigers) is the first show of the Dragons' Den format.

Since launching in 2001 as Money Tigers on Nippon TV in Japan, the format has become a phenomenal worldwide success.

Dragons' Den is distributed around the world by SPT under a number of variant titles, from Shark Tank (in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Vietnam); to Lions' Den (Germany, Denmark, Kenya); and Dragons' Den (including in the United Kingdom - where it has aired for the longest run, a record breaking 17 seasons, becoming the No.1 Factual Entertainment series on BBC Two). The French version puts business to the fore and airs under the title which candidates will finish their pitches with: 'Qui Veut Etre Mon Associé?' - which translates as Who Wants To Be My Partner?

Probably Money Tigers should be the main title, not an AKA though.
