Similar to how youtube trailers can be uploaded for individual episodes, it would be cool to have the same feature to upload on main TV show page (at least for TV shows that have openings) to give a feel of what type of show it is and these things are pretty cool overall.
And similarly how galleries and stuff can have multiple uploads, in case of different openings for different seasons, all could be added with usually season 1 opening made default primary.
An example of such openings/intros are something like these...
Millennium (Season 1 opening) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eX1qnKu9Gc
Millennium (Season 3 opening) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bgKIOgYwVw
Sliders (Season 3 opening) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGFp09nS5sM
Magnum, P.I. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBIgXhiOpeQ
Xena: Warrior Princess - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxhDbNlUHlk
And animated shows and cartoons too often have openings...
Onegai Twins - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPfK8R8zLKQ
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yeA7a0uS3A
Scooby Doo Where Are You! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTq6nwO4oJU
The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBHVN-h4ZLw
This gives you immediate overview of what the TV show may be like and you see some of the main actors. Plus it's usually the main theme that we all remember of our favorite TV shows so it can be a good flashback for going down the memory lane. And many TV shows don't have these intros (both newer and older which usually only show the title with 2-5sec long theme BGM) so many would still be without those additions.
Also, if we would have these, we should only accept original openings, meaning not some self-made variations or lyrics videos or whatever, just the opening as they originally were. Though hi-def remasters should also be acceptable, even preferable for today's standards.
Well, just a suggestion. I'd like to know if any of you guys think having something like this might be a cool feature or not.
Cheers!
