Can the existing data be replaced with data from thetvdb (72138).  It's not complete there either, but there's more.

Do you have a source to verify the episodes that you have added, I'm finding it hard to believe new episodes aired on Christmas day that's all

I was hoping the guest stars would appear as the episode titles.  "Episode 61" isn't all that helpful.

I have doubts a new episode aired on Christmas Day. More likely it is repackaged interviews from various episodes so it looks less like an actual repeat.

It would be interesting to see if tvtango lists all talk show episodes every year as new and not repeats.

@blackcat2021 You've added episodes airing on Christmas Day/New Year's Day at least that did not air according to the list provided on the source you provided:

http://www.tvtango.com/series/late_late_show_with_tom_snyder/episodes?page=6

http://www.tvtango.com/series/late_late_show_with_tom_snyder/episodes?page=5

I'm not really sure were we go from here. I don't for one second believe all the episodes added are correct and I don't know why we would assume TvTango would have the correct listings either.

TvTango uses Tue-Sat instead of Mon-Fri (because of the time slot of the show), so those 2 days were just in the 2 day window of no airing for that year.

You can delete all the episodes from X-Mas and New Year's Eve.

It's a daily show from a century ago, not sure where to find more info...

With that reasoning that would mean every series and every episode now needs double checking against the source you've told us you pulled the information from on the off chance that you've accidentally added shows in a no airing window? Quality edits to the site are definitely worth more then quantity.

I only used TvTango as source for this show. So my edits are good. I'm careful with the edits I make. My target is quality, of course.

You're saying you've used the source but I don't understand how when episodes have been added that don't exist on the source?

I will explain, again: the episodes listed on TvTango are using Tuesday to Saturday listing because the episodes aired after midnight. I read our policy and it said to keep the same day if the episodes aired before 5AM, so I used the Monday to Friday dates.
