Jaguardog, no need to apologize for keeping an eye open. TVmaze was created with the goal of being the most accurate and helpful tv site on the web. The less mistakes there are, the more this becomes a reality.

Tnx for reporting the mistakes you find.

You are very welcome and BTW just in case anyone wants to know I have found everyone of these after seeing 8 Photos and then clicking on the "View full cast list" it may just be a coincidence but the 2nd one always appears in the next group of people & photos?

"You ain't seen nothing yet!" (by Bachman Turner Overdrive) until you see the mess here where there is another one believe or not there was nothing wrong with the first 8 again but I opened it to see the full cast and this time I found 7 people that are duplicated.

Maura Tierney as Helen Solloway and one as HelenJulia Goldani Telles as Whitney Solloway and one as WhitneyJoshua Jackson as Cole Lockhart and one as ColeJake Richard Siciliano as Martin Solloway and one as MartinJadon Sand as Trevor Solloway and one as TrevorDominic West as Noah Solloway and one as NoahRuth Wilson as Alison Lockhart and one as Alison

There may be more as I didn't look any further it was hurting my eyes but almost the entire cast is duplicated?

Oh OK I did not know that I will try to look for that next time? Is it possible to at least add back in her Character's Last Name to this one?

I investigated on this matter and she is indeed credited as Nina Whitley, I fixed it and she is named that way now in our database :)

cheers

Here is another one I just now found on "Stalker". This one is very strange as It shows the real name of 2 different stars playing the same role. I have never seen this show so I do not kn ow if one replaced the other. I however do know the face of "Elisabeth Rohm" (can't make those strange marks above the letter O. Anyways as I was saying Elisabeth Rohm's photo appears under both real names her own and also under the name of "Elizabeth Bogus" which that photo is NOT here. Please fix whatever is wrong here, not sure myself?

I fixed that and the show had several other mistakes in the main cast, they are also fixed now :)

Another show I have never seen however IMDB claims she used both 1st & last. They also show last names for 4 other characters as well in case you need to know that?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3342592/?ref_=fn_al_tt...

Also fixed now, but we all have to be careful about imdb data, they also have many mistakes in it :)

Yes, I know and agree it was just an emergency back up on the spur of the moment. However I could look at any of theses sites for what we may need here?

futoncritic

tv.com

tvrage

tvtango

wikipedia

zap2it

in some cases the Network or Show site itself could possibly provide the information we might need?

JuanArango wrote 10 years ago: 1

Yes, we can look at many sites, futon is very trustworthy as they only use press releases. And the official network sites are also a great way to figure stuff out.

Oh BTW in case you did not know this. YES they are great with show bios and cast lists, however you cannot trust their daily TV schedule listings. I have visited that site every single day for years now and I have never, ever found a day that was set-up 100% correctly they have way too many mistakes. Either the episode title is not the correct one, or the time slot is wrong, or the day the show airs has since changed, or they list shows/specials that do not exist and way too many other wrong things I won't bother with now. However as far as shows/specials being (no such animal anywhere) last month they listed 2 weeks worth of specials to be aired on PBS in the US however not a single special episode title could be found on the PBS websites or anywhere else on the Internet. They have recently done the same thing last week with PBS again listing specials that don't exist. I was wondering where on earth they could possibly getting their information from for those specials, titles? Maybe there is a PBS also in another Country and they have been mixing it all up, no telling, I have no clue what they are doing from one day to the next. I could tell you more things about that site that I have found over the last few years but I have said enough for now!

As you said, the show bios and cast lists are very useful because those are press releases. And yes I also saw some mistakes in their schedule, but no one is perfect :)

Even network sites make a mistake once in a while.

That's true no one and no site is perfect however when you can't at least get 1 entire day of programming correct that is pretty sad!
