Missing dates in "split" shows/season.

Take the 2021 HBO show The Nevers. As an example, here's the appearance list for main character Amalia True.
The dates for the second half of the season are not present, because they are missing from the Episodes list, regarded from the World premiere.
If you look at the Streaming premiere (on Tubi), you'll see those dates are definitely present in the database.

This issue also affects the general Watchlist. I've tried every trick I could think of, but failed to get the second half to show up there.

The dates are missing becuase those episodes did not air on the original network.

While it's a bit of an edge case, wouldn't this be better treated as a network switch as opposed to having a separate list for the streaming dates?

But if we switch the network the episodes that aired on the other network would be blanked out according to the policy :)

We manage to maintain air dates in other shows that change networks, though.  The Expanse, for example, switched from SyFy to Prime, 9-1-1 went from Fox to ABC, etc.  Worst case, couldn't you consider the streaming episodes to be a season 2?  This site doesn't always follow the normal season conventions anyway (American Dad, for example is on season 20 here, but anywhere else I look considers the current season to be the 21st).

But those switches never occured within a season.

Would it be that horrible to call the last 6 episodes season 2 since they were made available almost 2 years after the first 6?  The alternative would be a code change to pick up the earliest date from any of the lists for the people involved, and I'm guessing that would be a bigger pain.

I haven't watched this series, so I don't really have a dog in the race here - just trying to offer suggestions.

This isn't the only show where this has occurred. Firefly and The Magnificent Seven are two others just off the top of my head.

We can't call it season 2 since they aren't called season 2 by anything official, and the way the site works doesn't let you change during a season.

And it's not like the show actually changed networks to anything we can track completely. They aired at some weird time on a FAST streaming channel that just happened to be on Tubi, it's not like it's actually Tubi's product now. Having an alt Tubi premiere is really the only middle ground there is.

Thanks for all your thoughts!

Fully agreed that this is an unfortunate, largely unavoidable edge case.
However, I would like to see a solution for the Watchlist.
Marking any episode we have as acquired should result in 100% of them appearing on your Watchlist.
