Electric Bloom - Disney Channel vs Disney+

It looks like Disney+ is premiering the most episodes of Electric Bloom in Season 1. So I already changed the episode Network to Disney+. But currently the Disney Channel dates are listed.

But I think I need an admin if we're going to list both Disney Channel premiere dates and Disney+ premiere dates. Disney+ premieres 13 episodes on Sep 17 and another 13 on October 15th.

Disney+ premieres 13 episodes on Sep 17 and another 13 on October 15th which means it premieres the final 16 out of a total of 26 episodes, while Disney Channel only premieres the first 10.

I've created a alternate list for it. You can list the Disney Channel dates there and do Disney+ dates on the main listing

Super annoying when there's such a delay between the broadcast and streaming dates :/

DisneyNow might end up being the winner now because it premiered a bunch of episodes with Disney+. It depends what happens next. If on Oct 15th they premiere the rest of the episodes with Disney+ then DisneyNow is the clear winner of most premieres in the season. But DisneyNow is only in America so it can't go into the world premiere category.

DisneyNow is the winner with at least 15 episodes (out of 26) now having premiered on the streaming platform. What now?

Even if the remaining 9 episodes premiered on Disney+ without airing on DisneyNow, Disney+ would still only have a total of 12 premieres, because Disney+ has only had 3 premieres so far, all simultaneous with DisneyNow. And Disney Channel only premiered 10 episodes, 8 were the same day as DisneyNow.

Currently only "world premiere" dates (Disney+) and broadcast premiere dates (Disney Channel) are listed. I don't know how to confirm whether Disney+ dates are really world premiere dates.

Should the Disney+ dates just be swapped out with the DisneyNow dates? Technically that's not a world premiere since DisneyNow is an American streaming service. But I guess this is what we need to do but change World Premiere to say Streaming Premiere. Is that possible?

Press releases didn't say anything about the DisneyNow air dates so there was no way to know in advance that DisneyNow would premiere the most episodes.

I mean, they are world premiere dates because it's the first time it was aired in the whole world in general, not just who has the most access to it. Until the alt lists let you use global channels then you can't use Disney+ as an alt.

My understanding is whoever premieres the most episodes across the three would be the "owner" and those are the dates we use. The new Vampirina show for example aired two episodes a week so far so even though all 14 episodes are due to be released at once on Disney+ on October 15th, only 4 of them will premiere on Disney+ first so Disney Channel is the 'owner'... unless they also end up putting those final 4 episodes on DisneyNow early then it could be changed to it instead. So DisneyNow would be the most premieres, unless you just want to use what most people have access to as the main one despite not being where they originally were released.

I'm surprised they have left the DisneyNow website active and updated this long to be honest since it's been over a year since they shut down streaming apps on phones/tablets and streaming devices.

Thanks for your post. I'll take a look at Vampirina separately but you're probably right. That may be a DisneyNow series also.

DisneyNow is the winner for Electric Bloom Season 1 because whenever episodes aired on Disney Channel they also aired on DisneyNow earlier on the same day (except a couple episodes which aired a day or two later). And because further down the line DisneyNow premiered a bunch of episodes early before they aired on Disney Channel (and before or simultaneous to Disney+). So most episodes premiered on DisneyNow first.

The question is would DisneyNow premieres be considered a world premiere? As I understand it, it is an American streaming platform and can only be watched from within the USA absent a VPN or something.

Disney+ dropped the rest of Electric Bloom Season 1 today. If you have access to it (unfortunately I do not) please add the episode titles, but leave the airdates blank because nothing new has premiered yet on DisneyNow. And after this month, DisneyChannel is also on break from airing new episodes.
