Question about adding cast members

Is it okay for older series like the three stooges to use a book for credits if the on screen credits don't list everything only few things example like this book : The complete Three Stooges : the definitive source book for the Three Stooges ; the official filmography and Three Stooges companion. Also since the three stooges only lists a couple other actors credited with them that usually say "with" would I put those under main cast and then all the other actors under guest stars and label them uncredited.

The 'with' would be guest cast and the Stooges are the main cast. I would go with on-screen and not a book.

But that doesn't really help for three stooges shorts since only 2-3 guest stars are crdited and a lot of other actors in those shorts had lines and weren't credited like for example the Looney Tunes shorts only one actor was credited even though sometimes they had other actors who voiced other characters they aren't credited

A website we can verify. Information from a book we can't.

I was looking at the credits for episodes and i notice some have assistant directors do you add assistant directors the the guest crew or just the director of the episode? I was searching through the forums for an answer about this and couldn't find an answer.

Assistant director is a show crew type not a episode crew type.

If this site specifically says this person and tbis person appear in a uncredited role then sure.

Tagging @LadyShelley in here as we think some of these episodes are theatrical only releases

Thanks I wasn't sure thought would ask. But why wouldn't all actors who aren't in credits be uncredited even though the threestooges.com said otherwise for certain roles like in one episode where it mentioned Clarence Nash was uncredited and did the cats in piano but all other actors were credited even though the credits didn't mention the actors? Since three stooges shorts normally don't list all actors in the episode who have roles only the stooges and one or two named guest stars at the start of the short this includes any credits.

I cannot make out what you're saying here at all.

Also why have you added Special Guest Stars as Guest Stars to The Simpsons again?

Why would all actors be credited when in the shorts only 1 or 2 guest stars are credited normally even though the website only lists the actors no roles and if any uncredited actors in the shorts.

But your whole original question was around uncredited actors and what source you could use?

Couldn't I use threestooges.com website and only put uncredited if the website labels an actor uncredited even though the shorts only credit 1-3 guest stars normally in the onscreen credits?

Does the website list uncredited actors and the characters they play, yes or no?

Just the actors names for all shorts sometimes the characters they played. it doesn't list uncredited actors very often.

Did you even look at the website and what it does for each stooge film short?

I'm not up on all Stooges history, but my understanding is these were all theatrical releases. and only aired on TV decades later in packaged Saturday afternoon blocks. I'm not sure any of this should be listed on the site.
