I want to start adding cast and guest cast to the show my little pony but how do i handle that when the earlier couple of seasons dont list all the actors, chararacters and guests stars per episode but then starting around Season 2 or 3 they start showing all the actors, characters and guest stars for the tv series. So am not sure how to handle the earlier seasons before the credis officially start sayinng who is guest star and main cast.
This isnt releated to animated shows but for shows in general for disney. But Can you use the www.d23.com website if can't find a press release for certain shows for disney related shows?

Just asking in general since i found a show on here CHip n dale nutty adventuers and it dind have any cast info but it showed the main voice cast on that site same with some other shows like chip dale rescue rangers and some older cartoons or live actions if dont know the name of the character. ANd it shows the main voice cast for those series and live action.
Since shorts and stuff dont reall have main or guest so have to go off of press relase for main cast and who normally voiced or played the rest of the characters for guest stars if they dont show up in a press relase just thought would ask if be good site for that.

D23 is an official Disney site. It is a sanctioned fan 'club' (club doesn't really describe it), but it is a part of Disney and their information can likely be trusted.

You'd follow how we list any other voice cast were no distinction is made - so all stars unless the releases specifically say they aren't.

For shorts on a press release would recurring cast be a guest star or main cast for series since on some press releases cast is sorted main cast, recurring cast and guest stars in the pres release for the main series since no press release is available for the shorts. Do I go off the tv series press release since technically shorts are spinoffs of the main series.

Anyway you can simplify what youre asking with specific examples of the show and the press release you are using please?

Doesn't matter about the show was just asking in general. Example Wayne Brady who voices clover he's listed he's listed as recurring regular in press release for the main show do I add him as main cast or guest star for the spinoff shorts. Same with others there's Main Cast, Reccurning Regular, Recurring Returning Regulars and Guest Stars but the shorts for that series didn't last very long and don't have a official press release same with other spinoffs normally
I think for shorts can you use the Disneyplus website and do starring for main cast then everyone else would be guest stars since on the page it lists the main cast for the series under starring. Or do you do it per episode.

It does matter when I cant make head nor tail of your initial message as it is. Your further explanation has also added no other context to what youre even talking about.

But noones credited as main cast or guest cast and with no supporting press release, everyone would be uncredited. We've already said that in this thread.
